Join us for a drama workshop series facilitated by Mark Butler for children ages 6-12! The workshops will occur on Sundays, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, and 4/28. The series will culminate in a performance on 5/5. This is an excellent opportunity for children to learn basic acting skills, build confidence, and have fun! No prior experience is necessary. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!
Mark William Butler has written over twenty plays, musicals, and revues, including “Ugly Christmas Sweater, The Musical,” which was chosen for the New York Musical Festival (2019), the TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series (2018), and the New York New Works Theatre Festival (2017). His work also includes award-winning productions of “The Laundry War,” “The Nickname Fairy,” and “Bad Christmas Sweater,” and he has been selected for many festivals in NYC, including The Midtown International Theatre Festival and The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. His new musical, “Imaginary Us,” was just chosen for the New York Theater Festival Summerfest, to be held in June.
