Religious Education for Children & Youth
Our Religious Education (RE) program for children & youth is for children from ages 6 months though age 18. We provide a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment where young hearts and minds can explore spiritual and moral questions, learn about Unitarian Universalism, and develop community and belonging. The program is grounded with love at the center and built on the values of our tradition which are generosity, interdependence, pluralism, justice, equity and transformation. To register a child, make sure you have a Realm account for you and your family!
Our Program & Curriculum
We provide an engaging, and inclusive environment with background checked volunteers and staff where children and youth can explore spiritual and moral values, learn about Unitarian Universalism, and develop a sense of community. We offer opportunities through Sunday morning programs & Family Connection Trips like picnics and ice skating.
Our curriculum includes the Soul Matters thematic programming for all ages and stages. We provide a lens of anti-racism, anti oppression and multi-culturalism to foster an inclusive and welcoming community for all.
Age-Appropriate Learning Groups
Our Children’s RE program is divided into age-appropriate groups, each designed to meet the developmental and spiritual needs of different age groups:

Elementary
Each week holds fun and engaging stories, games and activities around the monthly theme
and building connections.
Coming of Age
This program is for our 7th-9th graders and provides a space for each member to explore what they believe. The culmination is reading that faith statement in a the end of year service.
Youth Group
Teens meet in a supportive space where they can explore their faith, discuss relevant social issues, and build lasting friendships.
