Medical Aid in Dying Postcarding Event

Support Choice at End of Life: Urge state lawmakers to pass the NY Medical Aid in Dying Act. During Coffee Hour on March 9, members of the SIS Committee and NYUUJ will offer updated campaign information and postcards for your completion to send your state representatives.

The new legislative season includes new bill numbers and many newly-elected officials. Demonstrable support for MAiD is critical. MAiD is a right in 10 states and DC. It would allow a terminally ill, mentally competent adult with 6 months or less to live the option to obtain and take medication assuring a peaceful death when and if they chose.
