Discovering Calm in the Chaos: A 6-Week Online Course with Mickie Brown

Discovering Calm in the Chaos (DCC) is a 1 hour/week, 6-week course recommended for anyone who wishes to reduce stress through the practice of mindfulness. It involves education in scientifically validated mindfulness concepts and practices developed by Jon Kabat Zinn for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as well as the Oxford University Mindfulness Center course Finding Peace in a Frantic World (FPFW) both of which have been found to decrease stress. Sessions include didactic, practice and discussion.

Fridays 10-11am | ONLINE | May 1-June 5

Participants are invited to make an offering towards the teachings, on a sliding scale from $120-$200 (the bottom of the scale comes out to $20 per session.) Please register even if you are not able to pay within this scale— no one will be turned away from lack of funds. Register HERE.
