What’s Special About a Family? – How I wrote a Memoir
“YOU ALL LOOK ALIKE”, Kristin Elliott’s memoir, tells the story of growing up on Boston’s North Shore in the 50s and 60s capturing the optimism following World War II, when a family of six dared to start a greeting card company with little funds and experience. Elliott explores the history of Beverly, Massachusetts, from its colonial era association with witchcraft to being the “birthplace of the American Navy.” The youngest of four, with the card company named for her, Kristin recounts her youth with poignancy and wit, reminding us all of what’s special about every family.
