Philosophy East and West with Rev. Dr. Wayne Arnason
How do Western and Eastern philosophical insights differ, intersect, or match? Wayne Arnason has been absorbing insights into these questions contained in a book titled The Monk and the Philosopher by Jean Francois Revel and Mathieu Ricard: a conversation between a father and son deeply both deeply versed in western and eastern philosophy.
This program is in partnership with the All Souls Mindfulness | Meditation | Buddhism program and will include one or more brief periods of meditation as part of the exploration in discussion.
Particular chapters of this book will be a resource for each discussion but reading the entire book is not necessary.
Join us three Mondays in November! Nov. 9, 16 and 23 at 10 AM – 11 AM on Zoom.
