Sanctuary Sounds: A series of meditative sound baths

Join us for our new sanctuary sound bath series! of the year, an immersive meditation experience combining soothing music, breathwork, and mindfulness practices. In this hour-long sound bath, you’ll relax and restore your mind and body in our serene sanctuary, surrounded by calming world music and grounding techniques. Whether you’re looking to unwind, center yourself, or explore meditation and sound therapy, this session is designed to promote wellness and inner peace. Sunday, September 15 with Jacob Rudin

  • Jacob Rudin is a classically trained composer and pianist turned multi-flutist, producer, and sound-healing practitioner. Having created electronic and acoustic music in a wide variety of contexts since 2012, Jacob works in both the healing and contemporary music worlds, drawing on a rich sonic practice that involves experimental sound design, field recording, and virtuosic performances on a wide range of instruments. Sunday, October 20 with Franck Raharinosy & Mary Reilly Nichols

  • Franck Raharinosy is an Intuitive sound practitioner, guide, space holder and co-founder of the ping-pong social clubs, SPIN. Franck is the creator of Equinox Sonic Meditation , a class now available a few times a week at over 100 clubs worldwide. His personal experience with sound showed him the power of slowing down, being more present and feeling grounded. The transformation that occurred made him want to study and practice this healing modality and share it as a gift with his friends, family, work team and people in need.   • Mary Reilly Nichols, Director of Nalanda Institute’s Yoga, Mind & Spirit, has been teaching meditation and yoga philosophy for over 3 decades. She spent ten years teaching a breath based therapy in the treatment of stuttering and now teaches breathing, mindful practices and stress management in corporate and medical settings. Mary holds a BA in anthropology from Harvard University, and completed five years of residency in the meditation ashrams of Swami Muktananda both in India and in the US. Visit her website here.
