Elaine Peresluha
Interim Senior Minister
Rev. Elaine is an accredited Interim Minister by the Unitarian Universalist Association. She received her master’s degree from Harvard Divinity School in 1995, and her Ph.D. from the Taos Institute and the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands.
Rev. Elaine has served interim ministries with The First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, WI, First Parish in Concord, MA, South Church in Portsmouth NH and The U.U. Fellowship of Wilmington NC. Rev. Elaine has also served settled ministries with The North Universalist Chapel Society in Woodstock VT and the U.U. Society of Bangor in Bangor Maine.
Rev. Elaine is an avid four-season outdoor enthusiast. In addition to gardening, she loves to bike long distances and she is an experienced winter skier who enjoys boating in the summer, dancing, cooking and reading. She has recently taken up oil painting and she will be bringing her easel with her. Rev. Elaine has three daughters, three sons-in-law and two granddaughters and one grandson. Her beloved dog and cat will be accompanying her to New York City.
