Gretchen (she/her) finds joy in creating and fostering connection among communities. Born and raised in New England, Gretchen received her BA in Communication Studies at Furman University where she competed on the Track and Field Team, as a discus and shot put thrower.

Gretchen received her Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Gretchen is a trained chaplain, having completed Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and has worked as a Staff Chaplain in Boston, MA. As a queer woman, Gretchen has a deep passion for creating spaces and dialogue around matters of justice, including conversations about fatness and body neutrality, LGBTQ rights, and mental health.

Gretchen currently lives in Hell’s Kitchen, with her dear friends and her 8-year old Aussie/Newfoundland dog Tank. Gretchen finds joy in sports, journaling, hiking, road trips, and connecting with her friends!
