War, Violence, and Poverty: A Buddhist Approach to Peace

November 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST

Despite hopes for lasting peace after the world wars, violence and conflict persist both globally and personally. Many attribute these issues to politics, but can individuals play a role in fostering global peace? Drawing from over twenty years of Buddhist studies, a Master’s degree from Harvard, and extensive international teaching experience, Tengyur Rinpoche will share insights on Buddhist wisdom and practical steps individuals can take to contribute to peace in today’s world.

Donations are suggested to support Wisdom Bridges, a US-based non-governmental organization committed to enabling children in remote Himalayan communities to realize their full potential through education that bridges ancient wisdom and contemporary learning. Thank you for giving what you can. You can give by Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, check or cash at the program.

All are welcome, no need to register.
