Sarah Diamant was born in London, U.K. and lived in Kenya, Italy and South Africa before coming to the U.S. in 1983. Her diverse background has informed her commitment to inclusivity in her spirituality, life-view and professional pursuits. Sarah has worked in for-profit and not-for-profit settings. She was associated with the Jewish Theological Seminary for three decades as a PhD graduate in Biblical Studies as well as in the roles of instructor, librarian and member of the administration.
Sarah received training as a chaplain at New York Presbyterian Hospital and currently works as a Jewish and Multifaith staff chaplain in the NYP system. She is also in private practice offering one-on-one and group spiritual direction and life coaching. In her spare time, Sarah loves to sing, write poetry and make art. Sarah makes her home in New York City with her husband and two children, both in their mid-twenties.
