Book your Capital Campaign Visit Now!

The fall of 2024 marked an exciting new chapter in our journey with the launch of our capital campaign. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve already raised $9.5 million, and we’re eager to share how we’re moving forward.

But there’s still so much more to do—and we need you to be part of the next phase. Whether you’re already involved or just starting to learn more, we invite you to attend one of our Visitor Information Sessions to discover how you can help us reach our goal. Read more below or contact danreese@jdklote.com to schedule a visit.

Last fall, we announced and launched our Future of All Souls Capital Campaign to address the urgent renovations needed for Wiggin House and necessary improvements to All Souls facilities.

We are now entering the next phase of the campaign to raise the remaining $5.5 million for critical improvements to both Wiggin House and the church building. The contributions from the members and many friends of our congregation will meet our goal and secure the vitality of All Souls for generations to come.

Check out the answers to some frequently asked questions below:

How will my donation be used?

Donations will be used for urgent renovations for our 60-year-old Wiggin House which include repairs to the roofs; exterior parapets and walls; garden drainage system; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades to meet the requirements of the NYC Department of Buildings. Additional necessary renovations plans include the following below:

  • Memorial Wall repairs and garden reconstruction
  • New vestibule elevator for better accessibility
  • Bathroom upgrades
  • Chancel screen installation
  • Reidy Friendship Hall enhancements (lighting, heating, kitchen)
  • Workspace and storage optimization
What is the difference between the Annual Fund and the Capital Campaign?

Capital campaign funds are separate from annual operating expenses and regular annual giving must continue for daily operations. We encourage you to prioritize your annual giving pledge over a pledge to the capital campaign.

Annual Fund:

  • Supports daily operations
  • Funds yearly programming
  • Covers staff salaries
  • Provides for regular maintenance
  • Addresses immediate needs

Capital Campaign:

  • Funds major building renovations
  • Focuses on long-term infrastructure
  • Secures All Souls’ future sustainability
  • Supports large-scale improvements

Through this campaign, we will…

  • Preserve our physical assets and legacy — something that has not been done in any of our previous three locations.
  • Renew our physical assets — not just restore Wiggin House to what it was in 1954, but make it adequate to fulfill our needs of today and tomorrow.
  • Provide adequate financial stability and resources to ensure our congregational vitality by intentionally managing space to increase net income.
  • Integrate these efforts into the ongoing life of the congregation.
  • Bolster the size of our current Capital Reserve/Endowment in order to strengthen All Souls financially and limit recurring capital campaigns.
