SUMMARY:Religious Education for Children and Youth
DESCRIPTION:Kids explore justice\, equity\, generosity\, interdependence\, and more through fun Sunday activities\, stories & community in a welcoming space! \nWe provide an engaging and inclusive environment led by volunteers and staff where children and youth can explore spiritual and moral values\, learn about Unitarian Universalism\, and develop a sense of community. We teach through a lens of anti racism\, anti-oppression\, and multiculturalism to provide an inclusive and welcoming community for all. \n  \nNursery-Preschool: Our youngest members enjoy interactive lessons filled with free play and led by a trained staff member. \nElementary: Each week holds fun and engaging stories\, games and activities around the monthly theme and building connections. \nComing of Age: This program is for our 7th-9th graders and provides a space for each member to explore what they believe. The culmination is reading that faith statement in a the end of year service. \nYouth Group: Teens meet in a supportive space where they can explore topics relevant to their lives guided by a trained staff person. \n  \nFor more information about our Children’s Religious Education program\, contact us! \nRev.
