Music at All Souls
The
All Souls Choir
The
All Souls Choir sings on Sunday mornings and Christmas Eve, and
is a semi-professional chorus of 30 singersauditions are
required. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
from September to June.
The Sunday
morning repertoire includes such congregational favorites as Holst's
Psalms 86 and 148, Missa Luba, Precious Lord,and Palestrina's
Tu Es Petrus.To arrange for an audition, please call the

Community
Chorus
The
Community Chorus is open to all (members and non-members) regardless
of musical training or ability. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings
from October through May at 6:30 p.m. No prior experience singing
in a chorus is necessary! The Community Chorus sings during Sunday
morning services periodically throughout the year.
Musica
Viva
In
addition to our Sunday morning music program, Walter Klauss also
directs the Musica Viva concert series which features the All
Souls Choir and orchestra. Musica Viva is a separately incorporated
non-profit organization which perform four concerts per year at
All Souls Church. The series features an annual early music concert
with Baroque orchestra as well as an annual organ concert.
Musica
Viva is dedicated to performing rarely heard choral, orchestral
and organ works from all periods of musical history.

Childrens
Choir
The
Childrens Choir is directed by David Freiman. There is a
core group of youngsters who love singing in this choir. The children
perform songs from different genres, from Stephen Schwartzs
ballad When You Believe from the Disney feature film
Prince of Egypt, to a traditional Hannukah song, to
favorites from the hymnal.
