The Ethical Eating Group

The Ethical Eating group works to promote sustainable agriculture and human rights through conscious food choices at home, at All Souls, and in the wider world. This group is All Souls’ participation in the Unitarian Universalist Association’s 2008-2012 Study/Action Issue on Ethical Eating. During this time, all Unitarian Universalist congregations are encouraged to advocate for change around this issue.

One team within All Souls’ group seeks to educate ourselves and our congregation about the environmental and human impacts of the foods we eat. A second team is working more immediately on aligning All Souls’ food-related practices with our spiritual values.
